Padparadscha Sapphire

Padparadscha is a colour term (lotus-like pink-orange), not a place. Sri Lanka is the historic reference; similar colours appear elsewhere. Laboratories do not all draw the boundary in the same place.

For an RWA file, quote the report’s colour description verbatim. If one lab says padparadscha and another says pink sapphire, publish both.
